Women’s empowerment is a key factor for achieving sustainable economic growth, social development and environmental sustainability. The All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) has a plan to work for welfare and empowerment of women along with the development of society. A society can not be developed without women. Over the years, women have continued to speak out for policies and practices that do not threaten the health and well-being of future generations.
AIMEP has always been vocal on the issues of women rights and dignity.
AIMEP National President Dr. Nowhera Shaik continues to fight for improved living standards and protection of the environment. In almost all countries, women are disproportionately represented among the poor. And studies have found that the poor, in urban and rural areas of rich and poor countries, bear the greatest burden of environmental degradation and pollution. AIMEP has always been vocal on the issues of women rights and dignity. With the help of AIMEP and its workers Dr. Nowhera Shaik is serving the community and society at large. For the first time in India a woman stood to protect the right of other women and downtrodden sections of society.
